Reports to: Registrar

Job Purpose

To develop and implement marketing and student recruitment strategies that enhance the University's visibility, brand, and student enrolment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing and student recruitment campaigns.
  • Coordinate digital marketing, social media, and promotional activities.
  • Organize education fairs, school visits, exhibitions, and outreach programmes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective students and stakeholders.
  • Prepare marketing reports and analyze recruitment performance.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials and promotional content.
  • Support public relations and corporate communications initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Reports to: Vice Chancellor

Job Purpose

To provide executive, administrative, and secretarial support to the Vice Chancellor while ensuring the efficient coordination of the Vice Chancellor's Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Vice Chancellor's diary, appointments, and meetings.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, speeches, and presentations.
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare agendas and minutes.
  • Handle confidential documents and maintain official records.
  • Coordinate communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Arrange official travel and logistical requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to University Management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Reports to: Registrar

Job Purpose

To coordinate quality assurance systems and ensure compliance with higher education regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate programme accreditation and quality audits.
  • Monitor compliance with Higher Education Authority (HEA) and other regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate programme reviews and institutional self-assessments.
  • Prepare quality assurance reports.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement across the University.
  • Support academic planning and institutional effectiveness initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Quality Management, Higher Education Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in higher education or quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of HEA quality assurance frameworks is desirable.

Reports to: Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

Job Purpose

To ensure accurate financial reporting, sound accounting practices, and compliance with statutory and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
  • Process and submit statutory returns, including VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax (WHT), NHIMA, and NAPSA.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support budgeting and grant financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and proper filing of financial documents.
  • Prepare financial reports and management information.
  • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of Pastel Accounting Software and IFRS.
  • Excellent report writing skills.

Job Purpose

To manage, maintain, and support the University's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure by ensuring the efficient operation, security, and continuous improvement of ICT systems, networks, hardware, software, and digital services that support academic and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and other ICT equipment.
  • Administer and maintain the University's Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless Network (Wi-Fi), internet connectivity, and network security.
  • Provide technical support and helpdesk services to staff and students.
  • Manage institutional email systems, user accounts, and access permissions.
  • Maintain and update the University's website and other digital communication platforms.
  • Ensure regular backup of institutional data and implement disaster recovery procedures.
  • Monitor ICT systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and cybersecurity.
  • Install and maintain antivirus, firewall, and other information security solutions.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Student Information Management Systems (SIMS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other institutional software.
  • Maintain ICT inventory and prepare reports on ICT assets, maintenance activities, and system performance.
  • Provide ICT training and user support to staff and students.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and recommend innovative ICT solutions to improve institutional efficiency.

  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience, preferably in a higher education institution or a comparable organization.
  • Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer networking, systems administration, database management, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, networking technologies, website management, and ICT troubleshooting.
  • Excellent report writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

To provide security services that safeguard University property, students, staff, and visitors while maintaining a safe and secure campus environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control access to university premises.
  • Patrol buildings and surrounding areas.
  • Protect University property and assets.
  • Monitor security incidents and prepare reports.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Enforce University security procedures.
  • Provide customer-friendly security services to staff, students, and visitors.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate.
  • Security training or previous security experience will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physically fit with good moral character.
